Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Temporary Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager’s supervision. You will drive rent collection, ensure budgeted revenues, and manage onsite staff and leasing activities.

You will supervise operations, maintain records, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines while supporting resident satisfaction and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments and income accurately for applicants, current residents, and non-current residents.
• Processing and reconciling daily accounts receivable.
• Monitoring bad debt, sending late notices, contacting residents/guarantors, and filing evictions.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting charges to resident accounts and bill backs of utilities where applicable.
• End-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
