Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing activities, and ensure rent collection and cash flow efficiency.

This onsite role focuses on coordinating personnel, leasing, maintenance, and risk management under the Community Manager, while maintaining compliance with safety and Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• Onsite attendance is required.
• Experience with leasing, maintenance, finance and risk management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years in housing industry.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments from residents and applicants accurately.
• Monitor accounts receivable and delinquency follow-up.
• Manage leasing, showings, and move-ins.
• Supervise onsite staff through coaching and training.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
