Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the daily operations and financial functions of a housing community on-site, under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, accounts receivable, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines while leading a resident-focused team.

As the onsite leader, you will supervise staff, ensure accurate record-keeping, and help meet budgeted revenues and expenses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants, residents, and others accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily all accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt; prepare late notices and notifications.
