Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow while supervising staff and ensuring safety and compliance.

As an onsite leader, you will manage leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management, supporting budgeted revenues and company policies to deliver excellent resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments and income accurately for applicants, current residents, and non-current residents.
• Processing and reconciling daily accounts receivable; pursuing delinquencies and evictions as needed.
• Manage operations including leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management in the absence of the Community Manager.
