Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will work under the Community Manager, supervise on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and administration, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing policies.

The role emphasizes delinquency control, rent collection, and cash-flow optimization, with a hands-on leadership style and strong emphasis on resident satisfaction and team development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage leasing, staffing, maintenance, and administration under Community Manager.
• Ensure safety, fair housing compliance, and policy adherence.
• Lead leasing activities, show units, and process resident applications.
