Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Temporary Assistant Community Manager in Houston to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will help with rent collection, budgeting, and staff supervision to ensure smooth property performance.

The role requires on-site leadership, adherence to policies, and coordination of leasing, maintenance, and resident relations to maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years in housing industry.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and financial functions under Community Manager supervision.
• Manage delinquency and rent collections to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
