Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a motivated sales-oriented professional to handle inbound calls for training courses and Store products. You will act as a consultative partner to identify needs, recommend relevant classes, and process orders efficiently.

You will document interactions in Salesforce, upsell related products, and help drive annual revenue targets. A background in call-center sales and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; higher education is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a call center environment.
• Ability to multitask across multi-system platforms.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and product needs.
• Recommend and sell training classes and Store products based on customer needs.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders through sales systems.
• Document and update cases in Salesforce with required call information.
• Upsell Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Process returns, exchanges or cancellations per policy.
• Address customer questions and concerns about classes or products.
• Achieve Training revenue targets of $325K/year and Retail revenue of $80K/year.
