Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a customer-facing sales representative to handle inbound calls for training courses and store products. You will act as a trusted consultant, identifying needs and recommending suitable classes and products while processing transactions and ensuring accurate case documentation in Salesforce.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of call center sales experience, strong communication and multitasking abilities, and proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED; higher education optional.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in a call center.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple system platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training or store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover training and store product needs.
• Recommend and sell training classes and store products based on customer needs.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders through Sales systems.
• Document and update all cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell Red Cross Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations following policies.
• Answer customer questions about classes or products.
• Attain Training revenue of $325K per year and Retail revenue of $80K per year.
