Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Telesales Specialist (RSG) to sell community training classes and Store products via inbound calls. You will uncover needs, recommend offerings, process orders, and document interactions in Salesforce. The role emphasizes customer focus, cross-selling, and meeting annual revenue goals.

The position offers an hourly wage with commissions and requires at least 1 year of call center sales experience, strong communication, and basic MS Office/Salesforce proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience within a Call Center.
• Ability to effectively multi-task across multi-system platforms.
• Strong Influence and negotiation skills are a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training courses or Red Cross Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and product needs.
• Recommend and sell Red Cross training classes and Store products based on customer needs.
• Handle credit card transactions and place orders through Sales systems.
• Document and update cases in Salesforce.
• Upsell Store products that complement classes.
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations per policy.
• Answer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Attain Training revenue of $325K and Retail revenue of $80K per year.
