Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a customer-focused sales rep to handle inbound calls about training courses and Store products in a fast-paced call center environment.

You will uncover customer needs, recommend appropriate products, process orders and document everything in Salesforce, while aiming to meet quarterly revenue targets. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education a plus.
• At least 1 year of sales experience in a call center.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple system platforms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls for customers interested in training courses or Store products.
• Act as consultant to uncover customer training and Store product needs.
• Recommend and sell training classes and Store products based on customer needs.
• Process credit card transactions and place training and retail product orders in Sales systems.
• Document and update all cases with required call information in Salesforce.
• Upsell Store products that complement class enrollment.
• Handle returns, exchanges or cancellations of Store product orders per policy.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns about classes or products.
• Aim to achieve Training revenue of $325K and Retail revenue of $80K per year.
