Visionworks of America is seeking an Onsite Telehealth Specialist (Optometric Assistant) to be the welcoming face of our patient care during remote eye exams. You will assist with telemedicine processes, capture patient information, and help guide customers from examination to eyewear selection.

The role requires basic customer or patient service experience and a HS diploma or GED. This is a part-time, onsite position with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Assist remote eye exam processes and liaise between patients and Telemedicine Remote Physicians.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
