Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Telehealth Optometric Assistant to support remote eye exams and patient care. You will assist during telemedicine sessions, help with patient records, and guide patients from exam to sales. This part-time role emphasizes a warm, human approach to eye care.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient service preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist remote eye exam processes and liaise between patients and Telemedicine physicians.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting tests.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with essential information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services.
• Support store operations including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
