Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking an onsite Telehealth Specialist / Optometric Assistant to guide patients through remote eye exams, act as liaison between patients and Telemedicine physicians, and support sales staff with product information.

You will maintain accurate patient records, assist with exam flow, and help ensure a smooth, friendly patient journey in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience is preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist remote eye exam processes and liaise between patients and Telemedicine physicians.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide important information for the examination.
• Support the store's exam lane and patient experience goals, including restocking and answering phones.
