Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist with complex, time-sensitive issues, including customer escalations, site downtime, remote troubleshooting, and dispatching cases to field service technicians. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience.
• Must write queries and analyze SQL data (Select/Join).
• SSIS exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topology and commands.
• IIS and Web App Administration.
• Group Policies terminology and administration.
• VMware terminology and administration.
• Application installation and troubleshooting.
• Ports (Networking/OS).
• XML language knowledge (1+ year).
• Review application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Remote position working from home office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication and support coordination.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of ES 1.1x to troubleshoot and support.
• Answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the 1.1x Channel.
• Provide progress updates to customers and seek feedback.
• Prioritize and manage cases to ensure high-quality customer experience.
• Demonstrate understanding of BD products in customer environments.
• Support and educate customers about pharmacy workflow integrations.
• Operate in Windows OS & hospital IT environments.
• Identify issue trends and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
