Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues, including escalations and site downtime. The role requires deep knowledge of MedStation systems, SQL data handling, Windows Server environments, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Remote position with home-office setup; some in-office presence may be required to support remediation teams and training. Bachelor's degree or 3+ years’ experience and 2+ years SQL experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience and ability to write queries (SELECT/JOIN) within complex databases.
• SSIS exposure/experience and SQL Reporting Services knowledge preferred.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Knowledge of networking topology, terminology, and commands; familiarity with XML.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations; provide CSC support for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication and coordination.
• Maintain high data quality in case notes and Salesforce; provide customer updates.
• Troubleshoot customer issues using available tools and team collaboration.
• Complete required training and demonstrate BD Way behaviors.
