Job summary

ABB is seeking a technically strong, customer-focused Inside Sales Specialist to support a growing sales organization in the United States. You will pursue incoming leads, provide technical guidance, and help translate customer needs into winning opportunities.

You will collaborate across sales, proposals, operations, and customer teams to move opportunities from inquiry to order, including NDAs, quotes, and post-sale support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• 8 years of experience required, including at least 3 years in the electrical industry.
• Familiarity with 3-phase AC Power Systems and related equipment.
• Experience with complex bid/proposal processes and contract negotiations.
• Strong communication skills and cross-team coordination.
• Experience with SFDC and SAP and willingness to learn new tools.
• Travel expectations less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside sales and customer support resource, qualifying leads and guiding opportunities to outside sales.
• Manage and coordinate the proposal process, review RFQs, support pricing, and ensure on-time bid milestones.
• Drive customer satisfaction and project execution through proactive updates and issue resolution.
• Support business operations and sales performance by handling NDA, warranty processes, events, and dashboards.
