Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a technically strong Inside Sales Specialist to help grow a growing sales organization.

You will pursue incoming leads, provide technical guidance, support complex bids, and convert customer needs into sales opportunities. You will work across sales, proposals, operations, and customer teams to move opportunities, coordinate NDAs, orders, and warranty issues, and help deliver a positive customer experience from inquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred; commensurate experience considered.
• 8 years of experience required, including at least 3 years in the electrical industry.
• Familiarity with 3-phase AC power systems and related equipment.
• Experience with complex bid and proposal processes and negotiations.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) & SAP; willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside sales and customer support resource, qualifying leads and guiding customers.
• Manage and coordinate the proposal process, RFQ reviews, pricing support, and on-time bid milestones.
• Drive customer satisfaction and project execution through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Support business operations and sales performance with account administration, NDA/warranty processes, and sales reporting.
