BairesDev is seeking a Technical Director to join our Solutioning team. You will bridge client needs and delivery, design tailored technical solutions, and collaborate with sales and delivery to win new business. This role blends presales, delivery knowledge, and consulting acumen.

You will define project scope, assemble cross-functional teams, respond to complex RFPs/RFIs, and ensure solutions are viable, competitive, and aligned with client goals. Travel across the US is required.

Qualifications

8+ years building software in the SDLC with teams.
5+ years in solutioning / presales / solution architect roles, with Manager or Director level desirable.
5+ years in one specific area or role in the SDLC (language, framework, or technology).
Experience leading teams of software developers or engineers delivering solutions (Cloud, Data, DevOps, or Testing).
Must be located in the US.
Willingness to travel within the US +40%.

Responsibilities

Meet with leads and prospects alongside our sales team to understand and translate their requirements into digestible documents.
Travel to meet leads and attend events to support the Sales team as the technical expert.
Engage in technical conversations around software development and delivery at the solution level.
Work with presales on generating decks and proposals for leads, estimating and recommending delivery approaches.
Provide consulting for best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data/Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI.
