KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to own the ASC 740 provision and coordinate outsourced tax functions.

You will act as the internal quarterback for external advisors (RSM) and Avalara, driving accurate tax reporting across federal, state, and local levels. The role emphasizes execution, process improvement, and collaboration with finance leadership in a fast-paced, PE-backed organization.

Qualifications

• ASC 740 provision experience required.
• Strong experience in federal and state tax compliance (C-Corp).
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4/ regional firms).
• Experience with Avalara or similar sales tax systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual ASC 740 tax provision (current & deferred; journal entries).
• Perform provision-to-return true-ups and variance analysis.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors (RSM).
• Review federal and state income tax returns and workpapers.
• Manage timelines, deliverables and open items; support audits.
