WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As aTax Senior Associate/ Tax Manager,you’lloversee a portfolio of business and individual clients,leadingthe delivery of tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. You will play a key role in ensuringaccurateandtimelyfilings, providing proactive tax strategy recommendations, and mentoring staff. Acting as the bridge between senior leadership and associates, you will manage day-to-day client engagements while supporting broader firm initiatives and efficiency improvements.
As aTax Senior Associate/ Tax Manager,you’llwork with a high performing team of Accounting and Financial professionals whileidentifyingand implementing processes that serve high-net-worth individuals and businesses. Your leadership will be key to delivering exceptionaltaxservices, drivingthecompliancefunctionfor clientsincluding supervising the preparation and technical review of individual, partnership, pass-through entities, and corporate tax returns.
- Ensuretimely,accuratecompletion of client services: payroll, A/P, A/R, bookkeeping.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end financial processes, ensuring reconciliations and documentation meet compliance standards.
- Review financial data toidentifyopportunities for tax efficiency and improved reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure integrated financial and tax strategies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead client onboarding and kickoff meetings with the Sales Team,establishingstrong rapport and setting expectations.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients,maintainingclear communication and ensuring satisfaction.
- Conduct quarterly client meetings to review year-to-date business and personal income, discuss tax projections, and provide consulting points.
- Prepare and review complex business and individual income tax returns, including corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Ensure client compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Review and approve staff-prepared returns and financial documents for accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
- Conduct research on complex or unique tax issues and summarize findings for clients and leadership.
- Prepare responses to tax agency notices and communicate directly with taxing authorities as needed.
- Oversee preparation and submission of state sales taxreports.
- Maintainaccurateclient tax databases, logs, and document records.
- Identifyand implement tax reduction and planning strategies aligned with client goals.
- Supervise, train, and mentortaxstaff and senior associates, providing review and professional development guidance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine firm processes, SOPs, and quality control standards.
- Assistwith preparation and review of monthly or quarterly financial statements and board packages.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to tax, accounting, and strategic initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
- Deep knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and compliance work.
- Proficiencyin tax and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity withClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldrequired.
- 3–6 years of progressive public accounting experience.
- Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual returns, including S-Corps, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
- CPA or EArequired; CPA strongly preferred.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online/Desktop,UltraTax,Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Experience supervising staff and reviewing their work for accuracy.
- Experience working in a remote environment preferred.

JOB TYPE: Full-time
COMPENSATION (Based on Level &Experience):
- Tax SeniorAssociate:
- $80,000 – $95,000 (dependent on experience and geographic location)
- Tax Manager):
- $90,000 – $115,000 (dependent on experience and geographic location)
