Qualifications

• ASC 740 income tax provision experience
• Experience with federal and state income tax compliance for C-Corps
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms)
• Working knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems
• Proven ability to manage audits and interact with tax authorities
• Strong project management and coordination mindset
• Ability to operate independently in a hands-on environment

Responsibilities

• Own the ASC 740 income tax provision process, including current and deferred calculations, JEs, and schedules
• Serve as liaison with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders
• Oversee sales/use tax compliance processes with outsourced providers
• Review federal/state income tax returns and workpapers; manage timelines and items
• Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Identify tax planning opportunities and track regulatory changes, cash flow implications
• Improve tax workflows and coordinate with internal teams and vendors
