Qualifications

• Experience in ASC 740 income tax provision and reporting.
• Proficient in U.S. federal and state corporate tax compliance (C-Corp).
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 or regional firms).
• Working knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems.
• Proven ability to manage audits and respond to tax authority inquiries.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual ASC 740 income tax provision with current and deferred calculations.
• Coordinate provision-to-return true-ups and variance analysis.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
• Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors (RSM) and sales tax providers.
• Review federal and state income tax returns and workpapers; manage timelines.
• Oversee outsourced sales/use tax filings and reconciliations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and support business decisions.
• Improve tax workflows and coordinate across internal and external teams.
