Your Talent Team is partnering with a growing organization to hire a hands-on Tax Manager who owns the ASC 740 income tax provision and coordinates outsourced tax functions.

Based in the United States, the role sits at the center of tax operations, acting as internal quarterback with external advisors (RSM), sales tax providers (Avalara), and internal stakeholders to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
• Experience coordinating outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms).
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and tax technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual ASC 740 income tax provision, including current and deferred calculations, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Serve as primary liaison with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders; manage timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee sales/use tax compliance processes and partner with cross-functional teams to address tax exposure.
• Analyze tax data to identify savings opportunities and support strategic tax planning.
• Coordinate tax processes across internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth operation.
