Job summary

KingRecruitingServices partners with a U.S.-based manufacturer to hire a hands-on Tax Manager focused on ASC 740 income tax provision and coordination of outsourced tax functions with external advisors. You will own the provision, drive process improvements, and collaborate across finance, tax authorities, and service providers, delivering accurate tax reporting and strategic insights.

This role sits at the center of tax operations with exposure to leadership and opportunities to influence tax

Qualifications

• Experience with ASC 740 income tax provision and current & deferred calculations.
• Exposure to C-Corp federal and state tax compliance and filings.
• Familiarity with outsourced tax environments (Big 4 / regional firms).
• Experience coordinating with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Knowledge of Avalara or similar sales tax systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the ASC 740 income tax provision process, including calculations and reconciliations.
• Act as liaison with external tax advisors, and manage compliance timelines.
• Oversee outsourced sales/use tax processes and related filings.
• Support tax planning, cash flow forecasting, and regulatory changes tracking.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
