Job summary

TNMP is seeking a System Protection Engineer (I–IV or Principal) to perform complex protection studies and relay settings, ensuring reliable operation of high voltage systems. You will work across offices and field sites, applying engineering standards and CIP/NERC requirements to sustain system integrity.

Qualified candidates have ABET‑accredited degrees, PE license or FE path, and experience with ASPEN Oneliner and protection schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Knowledge of short circuit/relay settings and protection systems.
• Experience with ASPEN Oneliner, CAPE is preferred.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit, overcurrent and distance coordination studies.
• Calculate protective relay settings for new projects or modify existing settings.
• Analyze disturbances and propose mitigation with NERC CIP/PRC standards.
• Provide technical direction to field personnel and contractors.
