TNMP is seeking a System Protection Engineer at multiple Texas locations to perform complex engineering tasks ensuring reliability and compliance with NERC and CIP standards. The role involves protection studies, relay setting development, and coordination across office and field teams.

Candidates should have ABET-accredited engineering degrees and 1–10+ years of experience depending on level, with expertise in ASPEN Oneliner or CAPE and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering ABET-accredited.
• Experience with protection coordination studies and relays.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit, overcurrent and distance coordination studies.
• Develop protective relay settings for new/modified projects.
• Analyze system disturbances and propose mitigation per NERC.
• Provide technical direction to field personnel and contractors.
