Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee the full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning. You will ensure engineering deliverables are complete, compliant, and aligned with schedules and budgets in a dynamic energy infrastructure environment.

The role requires 10+ years in electric utility engineering or management, a BS/MS in engineering from ABET-accredited programs,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in electric utility engineering or related management.
• P.E. license is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, structural or civil engineering principles.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, NEC, NESC).

Responsibilities

• Strategically collaborate with engineering and operations leadership on technical goals and oversee engineering work.
• Act as technical lead during conceptual through closeout phases, including customer visits as needed.
• Define engineering scope, deliverables, and technical requirements for each project.
• Manage performance of engineering partners and review KPIs with senior leadership.
• Facilitate design and constructability reviews and manage risks with mitigations.
• Ensure internal technical documentation and standards compliance.
