Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of substations. You will collaborate with engineering, construction, and client teams to ensure safety, compliance, and on-time delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in electric utility engineering or management, a BS (ABET) in engineering, and usually a a P.E. license preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license preferred.
• 10+ years in electric utility engineering or management.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, structural, or civil engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversee engineering work.
• Lead project lifecycle from proposal to closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, engineering partners, and internal teams.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Drive collaboration with Quanta Engineering and Construction Operating Units.
