Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks an Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead multi‑disciplinary teams through proposal, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout. You will act as a technical lead, manage scope, schedule and budgets, coordinate with engineering, construction and client teams, and promote safety, quality and reliability.

Requirements: 10+ years in electric utility engineering, a BS or graduate degree from ABET‑accredited programs; a PE

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the electric utility industry.
• Bachelor of Science or graduate engineering degree from ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license is preferred.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NESC and related codes.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operations leadership on technical goals.
• Act as technical lead through concept to closeout; may visit sites as needed.
• Define engineering scope, deliverables, assumptions, and technical requirements.
• Manage engineering partners with KPIs and senior leadership oversight.
• Facilitate design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure documentation and standards are upheld.
• Develop and implement training strategies; support client meetings and project planning.
• Drive work with Quanta Engineering and Construction Operating Units; foster innovation.
• Represent QISG in industry forums and associations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
