Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC seeks an Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead technical delivery across proposal, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout. You will drive collaboration between engineering, construction and client teams to ensure safe, compliant, on-time project execution.

Applicants should have 10+ years in electric utility high-voltage projects, ABET engineering degree, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the electric utility industry performing engineering duties and/or management for high voltage projects.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (B.S. or higher).
• P.E. license preferred.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex projects.
• Strong technical knowledge in structural, civil, or electrical engineering; familiarity with industry standards.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NESC and related regulations.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and manage multiple tasks in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operational leadership on technical goals and oversee engineering work.
• Act as technical lead through the project lifecycle, including site visits during various phases.
• Define engineering scope, deliverables, assumptions, and technical requirements for each project.
• Manage performance of engineering partners and review KPIs with senior leadership.
• Facilitate design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
• Ensure documentation and standards are upheld to meet client and company requirements.
• Develop training strategies to elevate team performance and support client engagements.
