Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks an Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead technical management of substation projects from proposal through closeout. You will coordinate engineering, construction, and client teams, ensuring design integrity, scheduling, and budget adherence.

The role requires 10+ years in electric utility projects, an ABET-accredited degree, and a demonstrated ability to drive cross-disciplinary teams to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electric utility engineering or management for high voltage projects.
• ABET-accredited BS or grad degree in engineering.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong technical expertise across structural, civil, or electrical engineering; familiarity with ANSI/IEEE/NEC/NESC codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordinate engineering efforts across lifecycle stages.
• Lead conceptual to detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Define scope, deliverables, assumptions, and technical requirements for each project.
• Manage performance of engineering partners and review KPIs with senior leadership.
• Facilitate design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk mitigation planning.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
• Develop training strategies to elevate team capability and support business development.
• Collaborate with Quanta Engineering and Construction units to drive work.
