Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead engineering efforts for transmission and distribution projects in a dynamic environment.

You will drive the full project lifecycle, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure designs meet standards, schedules, and budgets while advancing grid reliability and resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in electric utility industry.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical utility standards.
• Ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering work and provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate full project lifecycle from scope to closeout.
• Manage risks, schedules, and budgets across projects.
• Lead design reviews and constructability assessments.
• Collaborate with clients, construction teams, and vendors.
• Drive process improvements and ensure safety and compliance.
