Job summary

City Year is a national AmeriCorps program seeking an entry-level City Year AmeriCorps Member to coach and mentor students across elementary to high school. This full-time, paid role helps students achieve academic success, improve attendance, and develop positive behaviors.

You will receive 2–4 weeks of initial training, work with partner teachers and school staff, and participate in school-wide initiatives and enrichment activities. Apply if you meet program eligibility and are ready to serve.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students 1:1 and in small groups to promote academic success and positive behaviors
• Plan and monitor student progress and support teachers with instruction and in-class student assistance
• Assist with school-wide initiatives and enrichment programs before/during/after school
• Participate in initial training (2–4 weeks) and collaborate with teachers and school staff
