Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader for the Transportation Business Group who will guide the pursuit and delivery of major Alternative Delivery transportation projects.

You will drive approvals, coordinate with policy, risk, and legal teams, and manage teaming relationships with engineering and construction entities. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in large civil infrastructure, a PE license, and a proven ability to lead diverse teams, with travel up to 50% required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience handling large civil infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with Alternative Delivery methods and large project pursuits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery transportation projects.
• Drive project approvals in line with HDR policy and risk management.
• Coordinate with HDR groups on policy, resources, contracts, and terms.
• Negotiate teaming agreements and subcontracts with engineering/construction entities.
• Engage with industry organizations to elevate HDR’s visibility in AD markets.
