HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to lead large-scale projects and shape delivery strategies.

You will drive approvals, manage client and partner relations, and coordinate across HDR's matrixed organization to ensure successful pursuits and program delivery. The role requires 15+ years in major transportation projects, a PE license, and a strong track record in leading diverse teams, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience in large transportation projects.
• Registration as a professional engineer and related technical experience for technical leadership roles.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and delivery of large Alternative Delivery transportation projects.
• Drive approvals per HDR policy and Risk Committee.
• Coordinate with HDR groups on policy, resources, contracts.
• Negotiate terms with clients and partners; establish subcontracts.
• Foster HDR matrix collaboration across areas and regions.
• Engage with industry groups to raise HDR visibility.
• Report status to Transportation Business Group leadership.
• Occasionally serve as Principal-in-Charge for selected contracts.
• Travel up to 50%.
