Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader for its Transportation Business Group to direct pursuit and delivery of large-scale Alternative Delivery projects.

You will work with HDR policy, legal, and risk teams to negotiate contracts, and collaborate with regional leads to align client needs with HDR capabilities. The role requires a 15+ year track record in major transportation projects, a PE license, and a Bachelor’s in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of professional engineering experience in major transportation projects including design and design management on Alternative Delivery programs.
• Strong client relationship management with public agencies and private entities.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk committees.
• Coordinate with HDR staff, legal, and leadership on contract terms for AD projects.
• Maintain collaboration across Transportation Business Group leadership and area leads.
• Provide advisory input on commercial and technical trends in the AD industry.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
