Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to lead major infrastructure projects and manage complex contracts across HDR’s matrix organization.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in civil engineering, a PE license, and a proven track record in pursuing and delivering large, complex transportation projects, with ability to travel up to 50% and lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in related field
• Professional engineering registration required for leadership roles
• Experience leading large civil infrastructure projects
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Strong collaboration within a matrix organization

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director and ensure effective pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects
• Drive the Alternative Delivery project approvals in compliance with HDR policy and risk committee
• Coordinate with HDR Business Group leadership, legal and risk teams on contract terms
• Collaborate with Transportation Leadership on upcoming projects and contractor relationships
• Foster HDR matrix collaboration across Areas, Regions, Market Sectors and Business Classes
