Job summary

UKG seeks a Strategic Pursuit Consultant to partner with Sales and Pre-Sales, shaping how we engage customers in high-value opportunities. You will blend business judgment, customer insight, and messaging expertise to craft compelling narratives and demonstrate UKG’s value.

You’ll work with cross-functional experts to understand priorities, tailor communications, and create engaging demonstrations or workshops that move opportunities forward.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined professional experience in strategic messaging, sales enablement, solution consulting, customer experience, product marketing, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience developing customer-facing content or experiences for complex B2B sales opportunities, such as executive presentations, proposals, demonstrations, sales plays, or workshops.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer needs, product information, market context, and competitive insights into a clear value narrative.
• Strong writing, editing, presentation, and storytelling skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to executive audiences.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Marketing, or subject matter expert teams.
• Strong discovery, facilitation, stakeholder communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape customer narratives & pursuits with sales and pre-sales teams to capture priorities and requirements.
• Apply UKG messaging to complex opportunities with portfolio, industry, and audience relevance.
• Turn insights into clear, credible narratives and value propositions.
• Develop value propositions, proof points, and executive messaging for proposals and demos.
• Tailor materials to customer needs while aligning with UKG positioning.
