Job summary

Avalara, Inc. is seeking a Sr Strategic Initiatives Program Manager to lead enterprise programs that drive Revenue Operations and GTM success in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You will partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into executable plans, manage governance, and deliver measurable value using AI-driven tools and data insights to improve decision making and operational efficiency across functions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program management, strategy and operations or consulting in GTM.
• 4+ years of change management or organizational transformation in GTM.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide programs and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic programs that support Revenue Operations and GTM priorities from planning through execution.
• Partner with executive leaders to define goals, align priorities, and deliver measurable value.
• Develop program plans with timelines, milestones, budgets, and success metrics.
• Facilitate governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
• Build partnerships across functions to drive alignment and execution.
• Lead change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies.
• Drive efficiency improvements and governance enhancements.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and BI platforms for reporting and decision support.
