Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an HR Consultant (Generalist) to deliver outsourced HR and consulting services to a diverse client base. You will manage daily HR operations, create policies, lead recruitment, oversee performance management, and handle employee relations and payroll coordination.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s in HR or related field, 1 year of HR experience, and strong MS Office and data-analysis skills. Excellent communication and multi-client multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related studies preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• One year of HR experience.
• Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Extensive Excel and data tools experience for detailed analysis.
• Experience with ATS platforms (ADP preferred).
• Strong payroll knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple client projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR consulting services to multiple clients across various industries.
• Manage daily HR and administrative functions for client assignments.
• Create policies and employee handbooks for clients.
• Oversee recruitment activities for multiple positions and clients.
• Manage performance management processes across client organizations.
• Handle employee relations and HR issue resolution.
• Coordinate changes with payroll processor and maintain data integrity in HRIS/ADP.
• Conduct full-cycle recruitment including applicant tracking, interviewing and background checks.
• Respond to HR inquiries via the dedicated Advantage HR mailbox.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and employees through clear communication and timely delivery.
