Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to join the Applications Engineering team. You will bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements, supporting demonstrations, field trials, and end-to-end network architectures across tactical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles.
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, or scripting languages for test automation.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team and travel up to 50%.

Responsabilités

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps and mapping operational needs to radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trial execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to verify architectures are sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development to meet strategic priorities.
• Develop and present technical demonstrations for low-signature, tactical edge needs.
• Perform market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders and component commands for technical input.
• Gather field feedback and translate needs into product roadmap inputs.
