Job summary
Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will support field trials, live configurations, and technical demonstrations across multi-domain environments while coordinating with engineering and business development teams.
Travel up to 50%, with some remote work based on location, and involvement in RFI/RFP responses and strategic initiatives. U.S.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of experience; OR HS Diploma with 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
- Basic RF test equipment familiarity; spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
Responsibilities
- Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and tactical radio solutions.
- Plan network configurations and conduct field trials and evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineering and business development to validate architectures.
- Support technical needs of the BD team and align with strategic priorities.
- Prepare technical demos for low-signature, resilient, and tactical edge needs.
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research.
