Job summary

Motorola Solutions, via its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM. This role bridges RF capabilities with customer requirements and emerging trends in multi-domain environments.

You will work with engineering and business development to demonstrate system interoperability, field-readiness, and low-signature performance. Occasional 50% travel and a robust remote-work option are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering or related C5ISR field.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps and tactical radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify proposed solution architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for strategic priorities.
• Travel up to 50% to sites and labs.
