Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with SOF customer requirements. You will support field trials, demonstrations, and end-to-end network architectures across tactical environments.

The role requires up to 50% travel, a SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one, and collaboration with engineering and business teams to translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles OR HS diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and design goals, mapping needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations, field trials, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to verify architectures and benchmarks.
• Support business development with technical needs and roadmap alignment.
• Prepare technical demos for low-signature, resilient edge operations.
