Job summary

Citi is seeking a Vice President of Application Support in Tampa, FL to lead production support for critical enterprise apps. You will oversee 24/7 availability, drive AI/ML and automation initiatives, and coordinate cross‑functional teams across global regions.

You will manage incident and change processes, mentor engineers, and partner with Risk, Compliance, and Security to maintain robust controls and governance in a fast‑paced financial technology environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Production Application Support or similar
• Strong SQL and Unix/Linux administration with automation
• Expert in monitoring/observability tools and incident management
• Proven leadership in high‑pressure, 24/7 environments
• Experience with containerization (OpenShift/Kubernetes) and cloud
• Excellent communication with executives and cross‑functional teams
• AI/ML concepts applied to production support and automation

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end production support for enterprise applications with 24/7 availability
• Lead incident, problem, and change management with root-cause analysis
• Drive AI/ML adoption in support operations and runbook automation
• Provide technical leadership across distributed architectures and hybrid cloud
• Mentor and develop a team of application support engineers
• Implement advanced monitoring and observability tooling
• Ensure security, compliance, and risk management across production systems
• Collaborate with development, infra, and business teams on feature releases
