Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in Production Application Support or similar.
• Strong problem solving and strategic thinking.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and relationship building.
• Service oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading requirements gathering for large development projects.
• Proficiency with technical tools and systems.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production support for a portfolio of enterprise-level applications, ensuring 24/7 availability, performance, and resilience.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Drive AI/ML adoption in support operations, including AIOps for anomaly detection and automated runbooks.
• Provide strategic technical leadership across distributed architectures (microservices, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Kafka, IBM MQ).
• Mentor and manage a team of application support engineers; conduct evaluations and career development.
• Architect and implement monitoring/observability with Geneos, AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
