Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Burbank, CA is hiring a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team and deliver strong sales and exceptional customer experiences. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensure SOP adherence, and coach staff to standards while managing Day-to-Day operations, loyalty programs, and omni-channel services.

You will drive conversion, protect assets, and partner with store leadership to meet KPIs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of retail leadership experience.
Ability to lead a team and drive KPIs.
Experience with POS and checkout operations.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
Ensure execution of policies and standards and accountability for store conditions.
Coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations and customer support.
Oversee in-store programs (e.g., balloons, events) and loyalty enrollment.
Promote MCC/Extend services and protection plans.
Drive sales and omni-channel service (BOPIS/Delivery).
Support framing operations and other departments as needed.
Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
Assist with asset protection to reduce shrink.
