Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Burbank, CA seeks a Retail Manager to lead the sales and customer service culture on the floor. You will drive selling behaviors, manage front-end operations, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed to achieve store KPIs.

You will coach teams, oversee POS and Self-Checkout, and partner on in-store programs like Loyalty and protection services while maintaining daily operational continuity.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure proper execution of policies and store standards.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS/Self-Checkout operations and customer support.
• Lead in-store programs (Loyalty, MCC/Extend services).
• Drive omni-channel order fulfillment (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
