Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager for the Annapolis area to lead front-end and service operations, champion selling behaviors, and drive KPI results while delivering an engaging customer experience.

This role covers POS and Self-Checkout, loyalty program enrollment, and omni-channel fulfillment such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, while mentoring team members and upholding asset protection and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable.
• Coach and model Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in specialty areas (Knit & Sew Shop, Cut Bar).
• Support BOPIS and Same Day Delivery to ensure timely order fulfillment.
