Job summary

At Home is seeking an Operations Lead to support store processes and a high-energy selling culture. You will oversee opening/closing, training, task delegation, and ensure adherence to company standards while promoting safety and ethical conduct in a warehouse-format environment.

You will partner with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing, workflows, and customer experience, including inventory control, safety, and loss prevention to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and assist with 100 lbs as needed.
• Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach as required.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure standards and processes are followed.
• Reliable and trustworthy; supports ethical behavior and teamwork.
• Creates urgency, promotes teamwork, delegates appropriately and motivates team.
• Ability to train, develop, and lead in a safe, smart, and fun environment.
• Must be flexible and capable of handling multiple tasks as business demands shift.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store operations, Front-End processes, and ensure readiness.
• Coordinate with Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing, traffic, and customer experience.
• Plan daily/weekly zone workload and assign tasks to meet store and sales goals.
• Support inventory control, safety, loss prevention, and customer experience for profitability.
• Drive productivity through training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Lead daily team huddles and communicate important topics to staff.
• Participate in all freight processes for inbound freight and transitions.
• Process freight, stock shelves, and maintain neat, organized store.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.
• Maintain open availability including nights and weekends.
